Ski Gang Get Together

Great time Sunday night at Elaine's. Who would have thought that sitting around a fire in the dim light for hours after dark would be so much fun!? Steve The Wonder Dog was a revelation. Those desserts were amazing. All the food was killer. We don't do this enough...so let's do it again!

The next event is Saturday night, September 26th at Smoken Joe's BBQ in Brighton. Shirley Lewis and band will be performing at 8:30. The last time I was there to see Shirley, (a) She was backed by a killer trio, and (b) She paid tribute to the recently deceased Michael Jackson by performing Beat It (including some feisty Moon Walking and The Robot, to name only two of the moves I could decipher.) Food at Smoken Joe's is fresh and tasty. They have a well stocked selection of micro brew beer, too. It's best to arrive no later than 7:00 to ensure a good table (or a table at all. It's Saturday night!) There's a parking lot behind Joe's. On street parking, too.
