You probably don't know Chris's music. She wasn't one of the jazz singers movies are made about (or for), but her voice was memorable. Chris passed away Saturday. Another death from cancer.
You can read more about her but you should really listen to her. I'm going to listen to her music today. You should, too. I have it on now.
