Hiromi is performing in New York City this week. Yet another reason to live in The Big Apple. Art is more prominent and supported (sure, they have millions more people...) it always seems, to me anyway.
Hiromi plays the piano, but she really brings the piano to life. She's touring behind her latest CD, Beyond Standard (the only one I have yet to hear. That will change in few days.)
You have to hear Hiromi to appreciate the energy and creativity she brings to the piano. There's some fury and fun in there, too.
