You might remember the story of the physician stuck at the South Pole 10 years ago who treated herself for breast cancer: Jerri FitzGerald. She passed away (from cancer) on Tuesday. Read her obituary to the end. She never stopped exploring life even when life seemed to be ending prematurely.
