Art Clokey passed away on Friday of last week. Art was an animator who created the popular Gumby character and kept working on related themes throughout his life. If you don't know Gumby, this proves you're not watching Saturday Night Live reruns and classic cartoons. You still have time!
Gumby, Pokey, and Davey and Goliath are foundational figures in animation and American mores (IMHO.)
