Suzy Bogguss at The Center for Arts in Natick

I saw Suzy Bogguss last night at The Center for Arts in Natick, Mass. Suzy is touring with 2 sideman: One on piano and accordion, and one bass (both electric and upright.) The three of them throw a sound worthy of a 6-piece band. Suzy's voice is at least as full as it sounds on her recordings. She played 2 sets with a brief intermission. She covered her major hits, country classics, swing and jazz and some original folk songs, too. See her if you can!

Suzy told a few stories during the show. She had spent a month earlier this summer playing and touring out of an RV through the Southwest. Her husband and son plus a friend of her son's were packed into the RV, too. They made an episodic video collection of their experiences.

TCAN is a small performance room booking some great talent. They also offer many programs for children. I signed up as a member after this show.

Cheers,

Greg
